Theatre

I started dancing when I was 5 years old. For me, it was more than just an after school activity, it became a part of who I am - I fell in love with performing and the sense of community that came with putting on a show.

I started performing in musicals - I spent time taking voice lessons, and teaching tap dance to my peers. Over the course of 4 years, I participated in over 15 productions.

Even after I graduated high school, I continued to spend time teaching dance in the community. I spent a summer teaching dance classes to high schoolers twice a week.

I also choreographed for Hanford High School's FAME Camp - a two week summer program for middle schoolers (pictured to the right). 80+ middle school students spend two weeks learning the basics of theatre and put on a show at the end of the program.

Music

I started playing the alto saxophone in 6th grade. I quickly found a love for music and all of the things that came with it - countless hours of rehearsals, teachers that became mentors for my future, and friends to last a lifetime.

Over the years, I participated in wind ensembles, honor bands, marching band, jazz band, pep band - everything you can imagine.

In the fall of 2018, I decided to take my love for music for the next level. I joined a drum corps. Drum corps is essentially the highest level of marching music. Thousands of young adults spend their summers putting music, marching, and artistry together to perform in front of crowds that fill NFL stadiums. We spend hundreds of hours on buses touring the country - sleeping on gym floors and showering in locker rooms in order to be able to do what we love.

I auditioned and was contracted with the Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps as a drum major.
