Over the course of 12 weeks, I completed 4 individual projects to expand my skill set.

Programming an Arduino

Motivation: An Arduino board will be used to build a prototype of Zephyr.

Objective: Write a basic program to read pressure sensor.

Execution: September 5th - September 19th, 2019

Takeaways: Basic ability to code in Arduino. This includes commands, loops, if/else statements, etc.

CAD Software

Motivation: Using CAD to build a design file that can be read by COMSOL software to assess stress and strain.

Objective: Design a curved surface from desired specifications in CAD.

Execution: September 26th - October 10th, 2019

Takeaways: Ability to create curved surfaces in CAD. Created a usable file for suppliers of Product V.

Circuit Board Design

Motivation: Need to layout circuit board design in order to preserve tangible materials when building low fidelity prototypes.

Objective: Learn to use EagleCAD for basic board design.

Execution: October 17th - October 31st, 2019.

Takeaways: EagleCAD design for Zephyr pressure sensor circuit.

Designing User Interface

Motivation: Desire for better understanding of how to build user interface software in order to better communicate with dev teams.

Objective: Learn about software development of user interface.

Execution: November 7th - November 21st, 2019

Takeaways: Knowledge on Microsoft Azure.

The Product

Finished low fidelity prototype of a pressure sensor that records data to Arduino. This basic circuit will be integrated into Zephyr.
